Corrections Log

Last updated:

We want every number on Ali Tools Express to be right. When we find a mistake on a published page, we fix it and record it here, so you can see what changed and when.

What counts as a correction

We log material corrections: a wrong formula, a wrong result, an outdated tax figure, rate or limit, a misquoted source or a statement that could change a decision. We do not log typo fixes, wording improvements or routine yearly data updates that we announced in advance; those are shown by the “Updated” date on each page.

How we handle a reported error

  1. We reproduce the problem and check the formula or figure against its primary source, such as a government agency, a standards body or the published rules.
  2. If the page is wrong, we fix the code or text, add an automated test so the same mistake cannot come back, and rebuild the site.
  3. Finance, accounting and health pages are re-checked by their reviewer before the fix goes live.
  4. We add an entry to the log below with the date, the page, what was wrong and what we changed.

Log

No material corrections to published pages have been recorded yet. New entries appear at the top of this section, newest first, in this format:

  • Date – page name: what was wrong, what we changed and whether results you calculated earlier were affected.
